TAKE A QUICK TOUR OF CHAUVET DJ’S NEW PRODUCTS UNVEILED AT THE DJX EXPO IN ATLANTIC CITY. LET’S GO!

In case you missed it… Chauvet DJ is all the buzz in Atlantic City at the DJX Expo. If you are at the show, you can find our friends at booth 712. If you were not able to make it, no worries. We got you. Here you’ll find a quick recap and overview of what’s new and exciting from our friends at Chauvet DJ.

SHOCKERP2 is a 130W two head ACL style blinder offering RGBA+WW color mixing.  Create fantastic chases by stringing together multiple units and assigning them to one of 4 modes, making auto programs coordinated across each fixture.  The addition of RDM allows you to change settings on each fixture from your console.

FREEDOMFLEXSTICKX4 consists of 4 battery powered tubes with virtually completely homogenized color mixing allowing solid colors in a tube.  Why is it a Flex?  The battery comes off!  You can use it without the battery for permanent installs, or stack additional batteries for added run time!  Lots of ways to use these new tubes.

GIGBARBRIDGEILS is a dual 70W spot head and wash combo!   With the built in DFI transceiver this can transmit to other ILS lights creating a coordinated show, or receive, wirelessly without adding or buying a transceiver.

For those other lights that have USB or ILS and do not have built in receivers, Chauvet DJ has given the DFIUSB a facelift.  DFIUSB2 is here.  They’ve improved the wireless reception with these and ditched the arcane dip switches, replacing them with 5 LEDs that are set exactly the way the DFIXLR transceivers are, making it easier to use together.  Also available in a 4 pack.

More eye candy is available with the COLORSTRIPPIXILS with 40 RGB color mixing, pixel mappable, LEDs.  The lensing is a bubble / frosted type lensing creating a unique look for chases or even just as a wash!

Several of Chauvet DJ’s fixtures have had ILS added to them and some even are now BT and ILS.  Lots of control options now from our wireless remotes, BT Air app on iOS and Android, or ILS Control from an ILSCOMMAND or other ILS transmitting fixture.  Also, even if you don’t use ILS, adding wireless DMX to an ILS light is a breeze with a DFIUSB2. The ILS line is growing and is here to stay!
